Brocade Offers NEWLY DEVELOPED SIMULATED LABS
Brocade Education Solutions now offers more learning choices for candidates working toward Certified Fabric Professional certifications in 2010. Our most popular courses for BCFA and BCFP are all offered via three Gold Standard methods - instructor-led, web-based and virtual no-travel training - plus they are now packaged with an expanded selection of lab choices.
Throughout March and April 2010, we are featuring newly developed simulated labs. Delivered directly to your desktop and always accessible even after your course has concluded, the simulated lab environment enables self-paced practice time and exploration with Brocade equipment. Customers who prefer the simulated environment tell us they learn quickly and effectively because feedback is instantaneous, and instruction on correct procedures is clear and concise.
Like hands-on remote labs, simulated labs are experienced on your personal laptop.
How to find the course format with the lab you desire
In the updated course schedule, new codes represent the training package varieties we are currently featuring. Here are explanations of those codes:
- ILS - Inclass Simulated labs, which means the course is taught in a classroom by an instructor; labs are simulated.
- ILT - InClass Remote, which means the course is taught in a classroom by an instructor; labs are remote and hands-on.
- BIS - Blended InClass Simulated, which means the course is taught in a classroom by an instructor; labs are simulated and there is an e-study component.
- BLS - Blended InClass Remote, which means the course is taught in a classroom by an instructor; labs are remote and hands-on, and there is an e-study component.
- VCS - InClass Virtual Simulated, which means the course is taught live by an instructor in an on-line environment; Simulated labs may or may not be performed during the course.
- VCT - InClass Virtual Remote, which means the course is taught live by an instructor in an on-line environment; Remote labs may or may not be performed during the course.
- BSS - Blended Virtual Simulated, which means the course is taught live by an instructor in an on-line environment; labs are simulated and there is an e-study component.
- BVS - Blended Virtual Remote, which means the course is taught live by an instructor in an on-line environment; labs are remote and hands-on, and there is an e-study component.
- WBT - Web-based Simulated, which means the course is self-paced and studied on-line; if the course includes labs they are simulated.
Remote and hands-on instructor-led labs will resume in late April. All other lab formats, including the simulated labs, will continue as well.
